Aloha! My name is Kyra, I’m a 24 year old neurodivergent adult with ADHD and autism looking to take care of furry friends in the Stanford/Danville area and beyond! I have two cats and two dogs of my own and have had years of experience in house sitting for lots of animals! I have cared for fish, amphibians, reptiles, rodents and birds as well so there’s nothing I can’t handle, furry, feathered or scaled! I’d be happy to take dogs for walks, stop in for potty breaks, play time and house sit! I have also had experience giving medication orally for cats and dogs with pills and liquid form. I am dependable, hardworking and a very dedicated animal person who has also worked in the veterinary field as a kennel assistant and also did some vet technician work as well! I am comfortable with any breed and size of dog, cat or any animal you name it! I’d be more than happy to take care of your animal family members like they were my own!

Kyra has amazing energy with animals! My dog Annie is a rescue with anxiety and trust issues. She went right over to Kyra for petting. She never does that! I felt comfortable having Kira house sit and take care of Annie. I totally recommend her!
My normal rover walker was unavailable and Kyra came highly recommended. Without hesitation I reached out and she filled in for the needed walks. She updated me with pictures and read the bio of dog specifics. Treated my dog as her own. Would recommend using Kyra!
Luna, our GSP loves Kyra! Kyra has been a phenomenal dog walker for us. She always gives us updates and pictures from the walk. She has always treated Luna like she was her own dog! Couldn't ask for more!

I love knowing about a dog/cat or any animal’s personality! I like knowing their quirks and what their favorite things to do are and how I can make them the most comfortable while their pet parents are away! Knowing about your pet’s naughty tendencies is also something I like to ask about! Do they shred toilet paper or are they counter surfers or trash can diggers looking to score on some left overs? It’s also important for me to know if they have any particular aggressions whether that’s with food and resource guarding or if it’s aggression towards humans/dogs! That can be very important as far as feeding times, treats, and walks go!
A typical day
I love providing a good schedule for the animals I care for whether that’s during drop in visits or housesitting! I tend to get them on a routine that past clients have said has helped out their animal’s behavior! I like taking dogs on different routes and switching it up to make it interesting for both the dog and me as well and I love sending pictures of your happy pups on their walks!

My schedule is currently pretty open at the moment for any housesitting or drop-ins! I work remotely doing freelance illustration work, so I can easily bring my work to your home if I housesit! Playing with your pets will be a rewarding break!
