Pet care experience
Since I was born, I have been surrounded by animals and since have discovered my strong love for all types of them. I have had dogs and cats all of my life, and have had my own horse since I was 12. I have utilized the knowledge of veterinary care that I have learned while caring for my own horse with all animals. Caring for and spending time with animals is a passion of mine, and I would love to be able to share that with yours! I am a RN at URMC looking for some side work outside of my full time job!

Our dog, Charlie, is always in good hands with Kyra! At first, we only needed dog walking services (and drop-ins while we were at work), but it didn’t take long to see how responsible and reliable she was. When we found ourselves in need of a dog-sitter for an extended vacation we didn't hesitate to book Kyra, and had peace of mind every day we were away. We came home to a happy pup just as we left her. As a crazy dog mom, I really appreciated the daily updates she sent with pictures and videos. We wouldn’t leave our dog with anyone else now!! It’s also safe to say Charlie adores Kyra - I can’t even mention her name without her doing a tap dance by the front door :)

A typical day
Happy to spend time at home with your dog if that’s where they are most comfortable— but if not, would love to go for walks on nearby trails and stop for some ice cream on the way home!

Availability
I work 3 12 hour shifts a week, so the other days I am off and looking for other work to do! I work at a few barns around the area but want to expand the pet care that I provide on my days off.
