My love for all types of animals was cemented at a very early age. My first experience was with an Alaskan Malamute mix named Cujo, a beagle mix named Marley, and a Collie named Tippy. They are the ones who showed me how to not only love but really care for a dogs needs. With three types of dogs with very different personalities and needs it showed me what works best for one doesn't always work best for the other. Then came my experience with smaller breeds. Roxie a poodle/ terrier mix and Dobby a jack russel/ chihuahua mix. I've had experience with smaller pregnant breeds, assisting with the birth, newborn puppy care, potty training, behavioral training, hygiene care such as nail care, hair care, and cleaning all types of breeds and sizes. I also have ample knowledge of care for sick dogs. Which include giving subdermal IV fluids and oral medication. Knowledge of protocol and signs of the parvovirus. I try to fine tune a workout or play session to the particular dog and there needs. From hiking trails for the more active/ bigger breeds, to a light jaunt around the park for smaller less active breeds, or a fun filled play of catch in the dog park for the more social breeds.
