Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around and raised animals since I was very young, and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. Friends and family have come to me whenever they need someone to care for their animals while away on trips, whether just for drop in visits or to house sit their beloved four legged friends. I also work as a pet stylist/bather and have ample experience caring for and grooming dogs, and volunteer regularly for the SICSA rescue right here in Dayton. I am familiar with dog and cat behavior, nutritional needs, grooming, and love spending my free time caring for and playing with my own pets. I have one dog and four cats, and all my pets have been rescued either from shelters or as strays.

When walking dogs, I am always very alert to any potential danger that we may encounter - whether that is ensuring we are walking on a dedicated sidewalk, avoiding traffic, or taking care to not interact with potentially aggressive animals. I always walk our dogs on a harness to prevent potential harm to their neck and trachea should they decide to go after the neighborhood squirrels; and I never allow cats outdoors without being leashed with a harness, in a stroller, or a carrier.

I love to find opportunities to stimulate your dog and/or cat’s senses. Whether that means taking them to a dog park, out on walks to explore new smells in the neighborhood or utilizing various toys and tools to stimulate your cat’s innate hunter instincts,

Availability
While I am currently working, I do have the afternoons off and spend plenty of time with my own animals and can spend a few hours with yours, whether that is walking your four-legged best friend or cleaning out your cat’s litter box and making sure they get adequate playtime to exercise their hunting instincts.
