Walks: I love to play with the fur-babies! I am very athletic and able to run with the smallest to playing tug-o-war with the largest! I live within walking distance to a large park and within a 10min drive to a popular dog park. Drop-Ins: I'm well educated on body language of the babies and how to play and interact with them per each clients needs. I am certified to administer medication in all forms, feed and care for all life stages of pets ranging from Aviary to Reptilian, Equine to Canine. I love all creatures great and small and make sure to leave a home as I entered, meaning that any messes inside and out are picked up. Boarding: I am a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and a Certified Veterinary Assistant, currently attending school to further my education with animal care. They must have proof of being up-to-date on shots and have an acceptable temperament. I have 4 years of experience watching pets with numerous returning clients averaging 5 days per stay. I live within walking distance to a park and specialize in high maintenance babies: those with medical needs and those that are attention loving! I am very patient and behaviorally educated in the ways of dogs/cats. I have a calm chi-mix and two dog friendly cats with their own bedroom if needed. I’m a firm believer in keeping animals in a positive, clean and airy environment. I leave classical music on should I need to run errands and make use of Adaptil plugins to release calming pheromones throughout my home. I am a fear-free training advocate and never use any sort of negative enforcement on an animal, unless an owner insist on a different training regimen. In addition to professional medical and behavioral experience, I was a grooming assistant for a year before attending school to join the medical field. As such, I am very comfortable with offering an exit bath, anal gland expression, blow-out/brush out and a nail trim if requested by owner. Meet n’ Greets: I absolutely insist on these! I want both parents and children to be aware of my home and the environment which they will stay in. I communicate at least once a day with you, often at night before bed with a “Dear Mom and Dad” letter and pictures of the day! Nothing is more rewarding for me than to have a baby settling in to a new environment comfortably!
