About Vail

Vail has personality to say the least. She must be mixed with something else that we don't know because she didn't get near as big as I thought she would. She is a huge lover too but also can be protective. She gets along with other dogs for the most part or once she knows them but sometimes needs an introduction first. She LOVES being outdoors.

Just don't leave her around shoes unattended.
  • Gets along with children: Yes
However, I am more careful with her than I am with Ava. If a little kid gets right in her face and starts screaming she may start barking at them because she hasn't been around it much and I don't think she understands what is happening. This is mainly for really young kids. My niece and nephew are 9 and 11 and she gets along with them great.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
She may just need an introduction first. I monitor her interaction with other dogs closer than I do with Ava. She has never bit another dog just barks at them sometimes. I think it is more of a protective thing.
  • Gets along with cats: No
I'm actually not sure she has been around a cat so I just put no to be safe since I don't really know yet.
