Hi there, I'm Kylie. I have a 4 year old male Australian Shepherd and a 5 year old cat! I live in a spacious two bedroom duplex in West Ames; which is SUPER close to some awesome parks that love to bring dogs to! I grew up in a household with four dogs, all of different ages, energy levels and personalities. That being said, I'm familiar with all aspects of pets ownership and having my pet WELL taken care of when I'm away. I want your pet to have the best time possible while your away and for you to feel comfortable during our time together. You'll get a bunch of pictures and daily updates (dare I say too many LOL)! I allow my pets to have full access to my place, that includes my bed, couches and porch!! I have a ton of toys (plushies and chews), bones, treat games and lickmats for your pet to chew on... my pup can hardly choose just one! I work part-time on rover taking care of pets and work part time delivering with Eatstreet. I strive to be as flexible as you need, to assist with as much pet sitting as I can! :) EatStreet leaves me plenty of time during the week to pet sit (doggie daycare and boarding), walk dogs, and do drop in visits with Rover!! When I take care of a pet, I prefer to set up a meet and greet prior to taking care of them to make sure its a good fit (with my unneutered male + cat) and you can tell me if your pet has any quirks or behavior issues I should know about before I watch them. If you plan on having your pet stay with me, we NEED to set up a meet and greet prior to the stay. If you plan on having me drop by or walk them, I would like to stop by in advance/ before I care for your pet to go over house rules and make sure they won't have any issues with me dropping in while you aren't there!

I can’t express how thankful our family is for Kylie. She cared for our 2 Goldens like they were her own while we gone for a week. It meant a lot to me for our pups to maintain a routine(including daily walks!), and Kylie was able to provide that. She was very timely with her visits, and provided detailed narratives of each of her visits, along with many pics of our pups. I would without a doubt book with Kylie again, and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet. 5 stars from this family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you choose to have your pet stay with me, I have two very friendly animals which are willing to take other dogs under their wings. My dog loves to keep client dogs entertained! I can also easily crate your dog if needed/wanted :)

(Not required) -Does your pet have any food allergies I should know about? -Is your pet on any medication? -If I do have to leave them unattended (not likely), how long should they be okay for? -I have a cat, how do they act around cats?? -My australian shepherd is intact, does your pet do okay with other intact pets? -Do you have a schedule you would like me to keep your pet on while they stay with me?
A typical day
I enjoy keeping my pup active mentally and physically, I have a higher energy Australian Shepherd that doesn't enjoy being couped up. If weather permits, I will make a point to get out hike/walk/get socialization or go to the dog park at least once a day! If it isn't nice outside, we still try to do something to keep everyone entertained, whether we all hop in the truck to go for a drive, go to Lowes/Menards to walk around or set up lick mats & treat games that last for hours!! (if they don't have any food allergies/sensitivies?)

Availability
I work 40 hours a week, but my hours are 6am-2:30pm (I also get to choose when my 30 minute lunch break is). Generally, I am off work Tuesday & Wednesdays during the week and have every other weekend off as well. My schedule leaves me quite flexible in the afternoon/evening when it comes to caring for pets.
