Pet care experience
John and I are responsible, attentive dog lovers. We both grew up with dogs (medium/large and small breed) and have not had a work travel schedule that is conducive for having one of our own, yet! While new to Rover, we've collectively dog sat many different breeds over the past few years including coonhounds, heelers, pitbulls, retrievers, and shepherd mixes. We are comfortable with all sizes of dogs and love to go on long walks or short runs to tucker them out! We are comfortable giving medicine on a schedule if needed and accommodating specific needs around meal time, reactive dogs on walks, etc.

Kylie is the best and has become a dear friend of our dog, Theo! She has stayed with him during weekends when we’ve traveled and I had no doubts that he was in good hands. She always makes sure our dog is showered with love and was on top of his walk and medicine schedule and make sure he got plenty of exercise.
My dog, Juno, is not an easy dog. She does not like new people and takes a while to get used to someone. Kylie took the time to get to know Juno before watching her. Juno was comfortable with Kylie very shortly after meeting her. Kylie has a calm, yet confident energy that Juno 100% picks up on. Kylie has watched Juno for me multiple times now. Kylie brings Juno on walks and plays with her in the yard to meet her high energy needs. I would absolutely recommend Kylie to other dog owners. I will definitely be using her services again in the near future!

We have a dog safe, first floor apartment. We dogsit so often for friends that we have puppy proofed everything, just like we had to with our dogs growing up! The entire unit is wood floors, it's easy to get in and out for walks, and has very spacious rooms. We also have a small backyard.

Let us know if your dog has a particular schedule, specific needs around meal times (medications/puzzle bowls/etc.), and any behaviors while walking that we should be aware and cautious of. We understand that dogs come from different backgrounds and may be person- or dog-reactive on a leash. If we know, we can accommodate them!
A typical day
We live in an incredibly walkable neighborhood, close to the back cove trail as well. We go on runs and walks and can easily get to nearby parks for a bit more space from other people/dogs. We have the free time and space to play indoors with the dogs as well, and we always make sure they get the attention they deserve!

We both work remotely full time (~9-5). We are both home all day and can easily accommodate varying meal times/routines. Morning walks, mid day walks, after work walks are all possible with our schedules.
