Pet care experience
My Australian Sheppard of 15 years recently passed and have had an empty home ever since. I love dogs but am not ready to have another of my own just yet. Having the company of dogs and caring for all animals truly lights up my life. I originally wanted to be a veterinarian but after I took a career exploration class, I found that the medical side is too hard for me to handle emotionally. Through the class I learned how to administer oral medication and insulin injections. If your pet has special needs I’m ready to learn! I have been pet and house sitting for friends, family and have gotten new clients from word of mouth but thought to expand my reach with creating a Rover profile. I have experience caring for other pets as well- including snakes, cats, chickens, sugar gliders, rats, turtles, and fish. Kylie was an amazing cat house sitter. We are so happy we found her?. We are 100% going to use her again as she lives close by and our cats loved her. I guess thats our only down side as they loved her so much - we have to earn their love back now that we returned from a 10 day trip!??? Meow- Cats gotta love them !!!
My husband and I had a 2 week, out of the country trip planned and weren’t sure what the best solution would be to ensure our high energy, anxious puppy was well taken care of and not resentful of us when we returned. Finding Kylie was such an incredible gift - in another country, 8 time zones away, I had no doubt that our puppy and two cats were in fantastic hands. Kylie sent us regular photo updates, was very communicative before, during, and after the stay, and left our house perfectly clean. Also, our puppy is somehow better behaved than we left him!! We can’t wait to hire Kylie again as a house sitter, or even as a shorter term dog sitter, should we ever need one.
This was the second time having Kylie watch our two senior pugs. The dogs have extreme separation anxiety and it's been a challenge to find someone that understands the needs of an older dog and has the patience to help the dogs feel comfortable. Kylie is absolutely that person for the pugs. I was so excited to see our dogs in their normal routine while Kylie was watching them. I encourage you to reach out to Kylie if you are considering trying out a new pet sitter. I will be booking all future pet watching needs with Kylie and recommend you do the same.
Kylie was extremely flexible with our drop in visit request and we could not be happier with the care provided. Kylie had great communication prior to and during the visit. The process was super easy start to finish. It's been difficult feeling comfortable having someone watch our two senior dogs and Kylie did such an awesome job. I highly recommend Kylie for all your pet sitting needs.
