Pet care experience
Up until I was 14, I grew up with two beloved family dogs, Macy and Molly, who were black lab sisters. After they passed, my family and I opened our home to over 30 foster puppies and adult dogs so that we could continue to spread the love and, more importantly, feel the love that a pet can give. I find peace in being around animals, regardless of whether I’m walking them, bathing them, or playing endless games of fetch with them (I’m looking at you, labradors!). I never dread any tasks related to the caretaking of pets; caring for animals is something I look forward to. Honestly, that is the reason I work for Rover. I am here to make you and your pet’s life as stress-free as possible.

Open to all breeds! I don’t have a fenced in yard, so if your pup is a runner, that might be something to consider. Please let me know if there are any restrictions to what your pup can or can’t do (excessive exercise, socializing with other dogs, disabilities, etc).
A typical day
If your dog loves to play fetch, I have a large yard, which extends into a larger grassy field, that would be perfect for him/her! There is also a large path in my neighborhood that stretches for miles and could be a routine walk for your pup. I can also take him/her to the dog park (only a few minutes from my home) or to a forest preserve that is safe for pets. Or if your dog likes to be lazy and chill, then we can lightly play and he/she can nap for a little! Whatever you wish for your pet, I can make it happen.
