I am an animal lover through and through. I prefer working for pet lovers over any other job because it doesn't feel like "work" to me - I enjoy it! I strive to provide pet owners with satisfactory services! I have experience owning and handling dogs of all sizes (from 100 lb bully breed to 3 lb chihuahua). I absolutely love cats. One reason I love offering pet services is it gives me the opportunity to be around different types of pets that I may not be able to personally have in my home! In addition to just dogs and cats, I've had the pleasure of owning a plethora of farm animals (goats, ducks, pigs, ect), small animals (rodents, birds, rabbits, ect), and reptiles/amphibians (snakes, lizards, frogs, ect). Needless to say, I have experience with a very wide variety of animals. I volunteered for a pet rescue from age 11 to 16. My love, knowledge, and dedication to shelter dogs was highly recognized by the rescue director and the other volunteers. Every Saturday, I would assist at Petsmart adoption events. My tasks included set up/tear down of the event, photographing adoptable dogs, walking dogs outdoors for bathroom breaks, answering questions from potential adopters in regards to the present adoptable dogs, pre-screening adoption questions, and paperwork. I quickly earned my way up to being the sole web technician for the rescue - Which included typing up and submitting biographies of dogs available for adoption using the photos I had taken of them. I also fostered dogs in my home on multiple occasions while they awaited a forever home. I have many references - I can provide contact information upon request.
