About Us If you're looking for someone who will love and care for your pup as much as you do, you've found her! I have owned dogs my entire life and love being around them, and naturally, I am very keen and intuitive and understanding of a pup's needs. I am a very active person and my pup and I would love to add yours to our many adventures! I currently live with my 5-year-old German Shepherd Husky mix, Roman. Romey is just a giant puppy with a large personality. He is very vocal, a huge cuddler, and he loves hanging out with his four-legged friends. Roman wants to spend time with a dog that's as serious about playtime as he is, but he also enjoys taking a moment to chill and chew on some toys, and is understanding and respectful with dogs and puppies that aren't up to his level of energy. We love dogs of all ages and sizes!

KyLeigh and Mike took great care of Merlin, and he had a blast playing with Roman! Merlin can have a little bit of separation anxiety, and they were very accommodating to make him feel comfortable while we were away. They also shared frequent updates, photos, and videos, which helped us feel better about leaving him for the weekend. Thank you!

Kyleigh took excellent care of my dog while I was away for a week. She kept me updated and send cute videos and pics almost every day which I really appreciated. My dog had a great time with Roman. Will definitely book with her again

Your Stay —Introductions: We are open to meet and greets ahead of time! My preference is to drop off the dogs with little time to get too anxious before Mom or Dad leave. After you depart, I like to take some time to play with the dogs and get them settled into their space. I have found that this is the best way to introduce a new guest into our home rather than a short stop-by where the pup may feel overwhelmed with expectations. While he has a huge personality, Roman is just the friendliest pup I've ever known and I haven't had an issue with another dog yet, but he can sound "growly" when playing. That being said, we understand if you would like to set up a meeting beforehand and it is something we can accommodate after further discussion. —Updates: You should expect to receive daily photos and videos updating you on your pal’s adventure while they are away on vacation with us.

Compatability with other doggos! Roman is a highly social pup, but is yours? We're going to get along no matter what, but please never hesitate to divulge all of the information you can about your furry friend. The more details you provide, the better I will bond with your pup! Additionally, Roman can sound "growly" in his play, but that is just his Husky nature. He is always tail-wagging and having a blast, that is just how he talks!
A typical day
Areas Eckhart and Humboldt Parks, Augusta and surrounding one-way streets for walks, undiscovered trails! Activities —After work: Over to Humboldt Park for a walk and off-leash activities, public space permitting. There is a fenced-in area across the street where we can go if available as well. —Weekends: If the weather is nice, we like to go on hikes or to the beach; weather not permitting, we like to hang out around the house and cuddle or play while I catch up on cleaning. We would love to have your pup hang out with Roman at home and join on our adventures—he gets along famously with other pups and whenever we have doggy guests, it's nonstop play for the entire stay. Your doggo is sure to go home one worn-out pup, which is perfect for when you're returning home from a long vacation!

Our Setup —Home: Roman and I share a large apartment just around the corner from Humboldt Park. We have a roommate who enjoys taking walks with us and we also do well with other dogs on a split leash. We like to take walks to the park across the street or occasionally we’ll go on a drive and stop off at a trail or park along the way. I work from home and there are frequent breaks for pets and playtime in our split-level, all-wood apartment where there is plenty of room to rough house with our furry guests. Rome shares a bed with me at night and is allowed on the couch to cuddle as well. —Transportation: I have a heavy-duty dog hammock and two puppy seatbelts for my Mazda, which makes it the perfect means for transporting two adventure pups! —FYI: Walks and jogs are a breeze with two dogs with my hands-free waist belt and split bungee leashes!
