i’ve always found it easier to be around animals than it was to be around classmates or team members or coworkers, which has given me an everlasting love for animals and a passion for taking care of them. i’ve taken care of and owned all sorts of animals from cats and dogs to birds and reptiles for over six years and have always been trusted by my friends and family to care for their furry, scaley, or flying friends friends!

i live in an apartment complex that is completely pet friendly. for dogs there is a fenced in dog park where all fur babies can socialize and get their energy out, plus walking trails all around the wooded areas of the apartment to go on walks. i live in a spacious complex with cat towers and toys all over to give the kitties plenty of space to nap and play inside! all pets in mine and my clients home will be spoiled by me constantly. i make sure to feed all clients animals on schedule, take them out for walks or to go potty multiple times a day, give them lots of play time and treats, and always make sure as soon as something seems out of the ordinary to contact the owner as soon as possible.

in my opinion anything that requires caution, more time & effort, and precision that is more than normal when it comes to taking care of an animal should be pointed out by my clients ahead of time. this includes allergies, behavioral problems, fears, foods they do and don’t like, and any medical conditions, etc.
A typical day
taking dogs out on walks is one of my favorite things to do when it comes to pet sitting. at my apartment complex there’s trails through the woods specifically meant for dog walking plus the cutest neighborhood that is perfect for dog walking to take a break from the woods. i would also love to take my client’s dogs to the dog park located at the complex i live in so that they are able to run and play with other dogs!

Availability
i currently have a full-time job as a hostess in a restaurant, but i’m still happy to say i have a large amount of free time considering the shifts i work are no more than 5-6 hours and i have a few days off every week! i also don’t mind working before i go in or after i get off at my other job.
