Pet care experience
I've been ardently studying positive reward training for the last year, on my own. More importantly, I just have a way with dogs and cats. They are noticeably drawn to me.

Kylea helped us get out for a day trip to the coast last minute. She was a prompt and great communicator, took the dogs on a longer walk than she had to and made sure they stayed cool on a hot Portland day. We really appreciate her help and professionalism, we will definitely, definitely be rebooking with Kylea.

Kylea did a wonderful job with my super excitable, high energy 1yo husky. My dog has certainly chased other dog walkers away with her over-the-top typical husky attitude so knowing that Kylea was completely comfortable and had a good time taking her out and playing with her while I was at work gave me such peace of mind! She was reassuring and receptive regarding my concerns (about my own dogs behaviour ?) and I would be delighted to work with her in the future, or recommend her to anyone looking for a warm, loving and responsible animal carer.
Kylea is great with our two dogs and we’ll versed in positive reinforcement training. Excited to book her regularly with our two wacky terriers.

A typical day
During dropins I can engage with toys, balls, flirtpole, etc. I can also work on training specific skills and behaviors, if you tell me what you are currently working on. I like to go to parks and natural areas.

Availability
I work in K-12 education for the school district. Hence, I'm available weekends, holidays, and spring, summer, and winter breaks. I am also available to pre-arrange anytime during most Wednesdays and can pre-arrange after-school visits/walks as well.
