A safe sitter for bullies/rescues
Pet care experience
After nearly a decade of work rescuing and rehabilitating bullies and big breeds with 'Baditudes' I have transitioned my efforts in animal rescue to supporting other dog owners who have chosen to step up and take on the responsibility of caring for bully breeds and rescues with temperament issues. My doors are open to any bully breed owners or rescue workers for training help, dog walking, socialization, day sitting, and boarding at my Minneapolis home, or theirs. Come visit or email me to discuss your needs. About this sitter: For nearly a decade now I have worked with rescue organisations across the country to rescue and rehabilitate bully breeds that are otherwise euthanized by traditional animal shelters and city pounds. After many years of rescue work I've chosen to move on and offer my services to positive pet owners in the hopes that we can culturally address the lack of accountability in dog ownership - those who otherwise would surrender the animals they struggle to care for. My doors are open for training sessions, day sitting, dog walking by appointment, and vacation boarding for any bully/large breed/or otherwise temperamental/difficult dogs.
Reviews
Kyle always takes good care of Rubio. It takes a lot to wear him out, but he always comes home tired and happy. Kyle handles bully breeds well. He seems to have a good balance between being firm yet caring.
Kyle was great with our pup from the first time we brought him over for a meet & greet! He clearly has a lot of experience with high-energy dogs and knows exactly how to best work with them. We'll definitely be staying with Kyle again and will probably brig the pup over for some play visits with his dogs in the meantime.
Kyle is awesome. He knows dogs with "baditudes" and he has used his skills to form a pack of canine helpers to help guide wayward pups to the light of playing nice. I have recently adopted a 70-pound puppy with too much energy and no manners when it comes to playing with other dogs. After arriving and smelling his new surroundings, my dog was introduced to Kyle's dogs. They clearly demonstrated appropriate etiquette and within a minute he was playing respectfully. When I picked my dog up the next day, he was happy and tired from some great socialization with experienced teachers of both the canine and human variety. Kyle even gave me a few tips on how to focus my training based on what he noticed with his time working with my dog. I would definitely have my dog stay with Kyle again.
