I've always lived with a dog since I was just a baby. Our first family dog was Mocha, a chocolate lab that we got when I was 3. Then we got Winnie, a bichon-poodle when I was a teenager. Now that I'm away from home in grad school, I don't get to see Winnie as much. I love having dogs around and showing them how much I care for them. I try to exercise at least five times a week, so walks will be easy. Winnie always loves to play when I'm home, so I can definitely handle those playful pups! I've also got three caring roommates who are all dog lovers. It is very rare that none of us are home at any given time. It's even rarer that we are all away for more than a few hours. But, my schedule is pretty flexible other than my night classes two days a week and working 20 hours a week at school.
