I was inspired to be a pet sitter because of the German Shepherd mix I grew up with. I love a cozy evening with a furry friend with lots of treats and playtime at home. And of course many, many walks with them too! Growing up, I loved every second of teaching my dog to sit, lie down, shake and roll over. While living in New York, I had the joy of taking care of a Pitbull mix, Bentley, who is a cancer survivor. We endearingly call him “Tripod” because, unfortunately, cancer took one of his hind legs. Nonetheless, he is as happy as ever and runs around like it never happened! I also cared for a King Charles Spaniel in the Upper East side -- her name is (Apple) Annie. We went on walks past the Metropolitan Museum and she always has plenty of admirers. Since all that, I have had over two years of being a Rover sitter primarily in New York, and now have been transitioning to forming relationships with clients on the West Coast. I have had a lot of experience walking dogs in San Francisco and am excited about the meeting more dogs here now, especially in Bernal. I have had the immense joy and privilege of taking care of over 20 dogs for overnight stays, as well as a few cats, when I was able to accommodate those in NY. Many of them became recurring clients and we formed a truly special bond. I currently live in San Francisco and sometimes visit San Diego & New York for long work trips. My partner is also dog & cat lover. I keep my calendar up to date, so owners can always check to see what my schedule is like in coming weeks/months. I value honesty and kind communication and I have a deep sense of responsibility for taking care of animals. I’m happy to also keep you updated on your pet’s activity with photos of it all so that you know they are comfortable, safe and well-cared for. I can provide photo updates upon arrival, during our time together, and just before leaving.
