Pet care experience
Since I was 10 years old, I have walked and trained dogs. Training dogs is a passion of mine, I love to see them grow and learn as I do. Animals are one of my greatest joys in life. My mother is a veterinarian and taught me how to love, take care of and train any animal. I have been housesitting for a number of families with dogs and cats, including a dog foster family with unfamiliar faces each time. I would love to love your pet for you!

Kyle was a perfect match for our Jewel. He kept us updated with pictures and texts, was quick to respond for meet & greet and key exchanges, and is just a really nice guy. We felt comfortable knowing all was in order when we left, and upon arriving home, it was confirmed that Kyle took great care of Jewel and our home. We highly recommend Kyle and will call on him again in the future.
Kyle was amazing. I needed a couple of walks for my active dog when I was away from the house. He thoroughly communicated with text and photos. I felt secure and confident with his care for my dog. He was able to immediately connect with my pets, understood and followed instructions for their care. I would highly recommend him and will absolutely hire him again!!
Kyle has been my go to pet/house sitter for many years! He is incredibly responsible and reliable but most of all a true animal lover and my animals love him back! I feel so comfortable going on vacation and leaving my fur babies with Kyle and can relax knowing they will be cared for and loved while we are away!
Kyle is my dogs favorite Funcle! Kyle meets Finnick's excitement every time they're together and anytime I need someone reliable to walk or look after him Kyle is my first call. With Kyles good energy, dependability and education around dogs I am at ease knowing I left my pup in the best hands. Kyle is fantastic with dogs of all ages - he has watched Finnick since he was a puppy and has raised his own dog to be the best/well behaved dog! Now that Finnick is eleven years old, Kyle recognizes that Finnick is older and doesn't need as much exercise but more love and attention, and is attentive to my requests every time I have new information. Kyle is on top of feeding schedules and has no trouble convincing Finnick to take his meds. I cannot put into words how helpful and wonderful it has been to have Kyle as Finnick's dog sitter and caretaker!

I have a large one bedroom that I live in by myself. I have a large fenced yard (probably about half an acre). The fences are low so if your dog is a jumper then I would keep a close eye on them while they're outside doing their business. I also like to sit outside and read while the dog(s) roam around and live their best life. External stimuli (new smells, sights, sounds) are incredibly good for the mental health of all dogs. I also own a 10.5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback named George. He is a very sweet boy and loves all people and animals, including babies, puppies and cats.

It's very helpful for me to know any behavioral tendencies the dog might have so I know how to act in situations where other dogs are people might be involved if we are on a walk. It's important to know if they have any special feeding needs, or prefer a harness over a collar. Things of these nature can make all the difference in the happiness of the pup! Any information you can give me that would improve the dogs experience with me would be greatly appreciated.
A typical day
It's very important to me that a dog is tired out at the end of the day when I'm responsible for them. If they need more than one walk then I'd be happy to oblige. If they're a senior dog and don't need much exercise, just love and short walks or backyard trips, I can do that as well. What's most important is what's best for your dog. New sights, smells and sounds are important mental stimuli to a dogs health, and I love taking them out to new parks and routes to keep them healthy and happy. I'm happy to play fetch or use a specific favorite toy as requested. Anything that your dog needs, I can do!

Availability
I work from about 9:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. I can take as long of a lunch break as I need to go visit pups and let them outside to potty. My schedule is relatively open during the weekdays and completely free on the weekends.
