Hi! My name is Kyle and I have about five years of pet care experience. For years, I was a special education teacher but I'm looking to change careers. I adore dogs. At get-togethers, I'm often the one who is in a corner petting the host's dog instead of socializing with the humans in the room :). I currently work at a Doggy Daycare center in Scottsdale. This means that I have a lot of experience in dealing dogs of a variety of personalities, behavior quirks, and medical needs. I have also worked for Four Paws Adventures. At Four Paws I was responsible for transporting dogs and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Below you will find some testimonials that attest to my character and skills. Kyle was pretty good. He needed some direction and mostly complied when I gave it to him. On a positive note he came over a few times, once to meet my dog and another time to pick up a key and tried to help me install a lock on my gate which was very nice of him and he met me for coffee prior to meeting my dog which was important to me and also very nice of him. Some interactions with him over the phone weren't so great and where I think he could have made better choices with what he said to me. When meeting him, I explained I was looking for someone permanent and long-term as I don't want random people in and out of my house watching my dog. He said he was looking for the same and would love to have a permanent client so I thought we were on the same page. After hiring him for two visits, I wasn't sure if I wanted to work with him again as the experience was just ok. He actually beat me to the punch and told me he wasn't interested in working with me long term. I was nothing but kind, patient and understanding with him. I bought him snacks so he had something to munch on while caring for my dog, made up a guest room just for him, and told him to just have fun and make yourself at home so I was shocked and disappointed to get that text from him saying he basically wasn't interested in working with me long term which he was clear going into the visit was what I was looking for and accepted the job. It could have been just a bad match between Kyle and I. He did seem like a nice guy, not sure if it was genuine or not but just not the dog sitter for me and clearly I guess I wasn't the right pet owner for him. I think with being open to improving he will do well going forward and I'm rooting for him.
Kyle is a very polite, kind young man Kyle took great care of my boy Valentino while is was away on a last minute vacation. Kyle did everything asked of him and really wanted to make sure he understood what I needed to care for Valentino. Kyle sent pictures and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Kyle to anyone needing a dog sitter. I even came back and my place was even cleaner than I left it. Kyle not only picked up after himself but made sure I came home to a clean house which was way more than expected. If you need a reliable and kind dog sitter, Kyle is your guy !!
Kyle has worked for me in my dog daycare for about 6 months. Not only is he extremely mature and professional, he absolutely loves dogs. He is extremely punctual and can handle all shapes and sizes of pups. Did I mention he also LOVES dogs? I would trust him with all 3 of my dogs as well as all 3 of my human kids. Cannot say enough about this young man.
Kyle is a natural leader and clear lover of dogs. He is incredibly attentive and is always making safety his number one priority. Kyle has a calm, welcoming demeanor that dogs just gravitate to! Kyle can comfortably care for a group of 25+ dogs in an open play environment and is very well versed in dog language and communication. I would highly recommend Kyle as a 5 Star Canine Caregiver!
