Pet care experience
Pets throughout my childhood played a massive role in who I’ve proudly become today hence why I have such a passion for them. Dogs specifically. Dogs are the true definition of a best friend which is why I reciprocate that energy with them. I love forming bonds with every dog I am so lucky to have an encounter with. Because of my experiences with dogs, I’ve grown a passion for them and want to give them all nothing but love and care. I’ve had at least one dog my entire life. After my first dog passed away when I was around 10, my mom got into working with rescues and the dog warden which I’d also help with. For years I’d go to clean kennels, play, and walk the dogs with her. My dog with my dad was one I fell in love with from playing with while he was at the pound. Even to this day as a college student my mom will ask me to come home to watch her foster dogs or dogs we have adopted that the owners now rely on us to watch when they are out of town.

Kyle has grown up around dogs and cats. He is a very caring, trustworthy and dedicated young man. He has watched many dogs of different breeds. He has been a volunteer for many different rescues and organizations. He enjoys walking and training the animals. He feels that every dog deserves love and attention.

I’ve been walking dogs and around dogs helping take care of them since before I can remember. I understand the different ways to approach different situations with dogs. I know a lot of the the signs dogs show based on how they are feeling and understand how different dogs may react based on how they feel.

A heads up on tendencies or behaviors you notice with your pup are much appreciated! This could be that maybe they pull on the leash, they're friendly or unfriendly with other dogs, or maybe one day they have extra energy. Special needs is also need to know info as I have taken care of a few special needs dogs such as blindness.
A typical day
On our walk I’d like to work obedience into the walk and take very short breaks to practice things like sitting. Neighborhood walks are fun but if there are parks or trails in the vicinity we will likely be going there instead!

Availability
I currently work part-time as a student employee and am off work in the summer after 1PM. I try to stick to roughly the same schedule every day when I can however I build lots of “flex” time into my schedule where I set free time in my schedule that’s structured to fill with something else like a dog walk!
