Kyla has been around animals since she was a little girl. From giant hissing cockroaches to horses, she always treated them with respect and kindness, even at a very young age. Since age 8, Kyla was responsible for many aspects of care of the family corgi dog (a stubborn and sometimes irascible character) including walking him, playing fetch, feeding him and cleaning up the yard from his puppyhood until he passed away at age 13. She is currently co-owner of the rescue dog we got from Texas 2 years ago and has been the sole caregiver of this corgi mix for weeks at a time when all of the other family members have been away from home. She has taken him to obedience and agility classes and spends time with him at the dog park. She is an experienced house sitter and has been responsible for giving medications and general care of geriatric pets. Kyla loves dogs, all dogs, with a passion and enjoys spending as much time as she can with dogs. She is always calm regardless of the circumstance. She shows good judgement and is courteous to all, people and dogs.
