Pet care experience
When I was born, my parents adopted 2 black lab puppies at the same time and 2 kittens when i was 7. I grew up with them practically being my “brother and sister”. I’ve grown up gaining experience and taking care of pets which is a asset I would like to use. I often take care of my neighbors pets while they’re at work, my family’s pets, and my friends pets. I have been getting paid to walk, board, and watch pets for about 2 1/2 years now but again, I’ve had a lifetime of experience with pets since I’ve grown up with them. I have experience with dogs aged from 0-14, My aunt adopted puppies about a year ago who I’ve basically raised. The two black lab dogs I grew up with named Maile and Koa passed away about 4 years ago and one had diabetes and was blind, and the other had kidney disease. From when I was only 12 years old, I would give my dog his daily insulin shot for his diabetes and also walk him and teach him how to function while blind. I walk 3 of my different neighbors dogs and get paid about $20 to do an hour, and realized I should expand and come onto rover to meet more furry friends!

The care that Kyla and her family gave to our dogs were wonderful! We are so appreciative! The communication was great and she was very timely to answer messages and sent me lots of pictures. I live on a very animal friendly property with my two parents and 7-yr old brother. I am home more often then not and when I am I love to run/walk up my hill which takes about 30 minutes and i usually bring my dog Ludo with me but I’d love to bring your furry friend too! I have a large fenced yard with a fenced pool in the center. I have a doggy water fountain which is always on in my house providing ample water for the dogs. Something that really sets me and my home apart from other people is that I live literally right next door (50 ft) from a very large park. If needed I can send a satellite photo of my house which will show the distance from the park and my yard. My mom is a true dog lover who used to volunteer at a veterinarian office when she was in college. She loves to cuddle dogs and play with them constantly since she is a home-maker. She will give extra love to your furry friend and so will my dad and brother! I’ll always be 100% responsible for your pet but again my housemates will only add to the love! My dog is truly the most harmless and sweet gentle-giant there is. He wouldn’t hurt a fly. He is very laid back and loves to chill but can also play when he has the energy!

I would like to know how playful or laid back your dog is so I know what to expect. I’d also like to know when they usually expect to eat or get a treat since I know my dog knows when he’s supposed to get a treat/get fed. Most importantly I’d like to know if any medical conditions and if your dog is okay to pet/touch/hold.
A typical day
I love to sleep/nap with dogs when I board them. I like to keep them by my side constantly to provide the best case possible. I absolutely love fitness so I love bringing furry friends with me when I go outside to do my daily walk/run. I also love playing fetch with pets. My dog loves to chase me around my house as well so I love to do that with dogs as well. I can usually gage how your pet is and will treat them based on how chill/playful they are.

I am overall very available. I would like to work part time on rover, and it would better work out if I have a set schedule to walk your furry friend but I am often flexible in the evening as well just as an FYI!
