Pet care experience

Hello! My name's Kurt. I have been a life-long animal lover and pet owner, and I've been involved in pet care for a number of years now. I'm available full time to ensure your special friend is well taken care of, and have experience with pets of every shape, size, and personality. Whatever your pet's needs and routine, I'll do my best to make them as comfortable as they would be in their own environment. Our home is very comfortable and out in the country away from any roads or other people. There is plenty of space to run and play, so high-energy dogs are welcome - I have a lot of energy myself. If your pet is older or smaller and has less energy, that's no problem as of course I'm more than happy to take it easy. Every dog's personality is different and I take each dog as a new experience. If you do book with me I will do my best to make sure your pet has a special experience and comes back happy. I'm flexible with dates/times/drop-off etc., and am more than happy to have any toys, crates or anything else you'd like for your pet. I've developed a lot of really great dog-friends in my time doing this and I'd love to meet yours. Reach out any time and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Hope to hear from you soon! Full-Time. Pretty much all of my time is dedicated to caring for and playing my regular dog-friends that I see. It is an incredibly enjoyable and rewarding time. Better safe than sorry is always the motto, and communication with the owner about a pets individual circumstances is usually the most important thing. We are back away from other houses or people for the most part so there isn't too much concern in that regard. Each pet is different so just be sure to provide a good description of your individual pets temperament, medical circumstances, on-leash/off-leash info, etc.

We have booked with Kurt for a couple years now and are never disappointed. He takes great care of our dog, sends pictures (which makes our children happy), and is extremely responsive. Our family highly recommends Kurt!!

Information Kurt B. would like to know about your pet

I'll be happy to work with your pet no matter what shape or size and I do have experience working with special needs dogs. Just be sure to let me know whether or not they've experienced being left in an unfamiliar environment before, what their schedule is like, and whether they are used to being on or off leash. That they are well-socialized is, of course, very important; as is any medical conditions they may have. Any other information is entirely up to you.

A typical day

I love to run and play with high-energy dogs. I live in a great area and there is a wide variety of activities available for us. We have all kinds of toys and even a small creek that water-friendly dogs can enjoying splashing in. For low-energy dogs they will always be able to relax on our couches or the queen sized bed which has become the designated pet-bed. I frequently sleep in the bed with them and I think most pets enjoy the comfort. If your pet has any specific habits that you'd like to see maintained or any training that needs more work I also have experience there so just let me know.
