Pet care experience
I have had family pets since I can remember. I truly have a passion for dogs. A few years ago I got my very first dog on my own and I am in love with playing, walks, and cuddling with my little friend. I also just recently got another puppy! More to love! Dogs bring so much joy to life, and I am excited to be the human that can bring joy to your pup! I am caring, flexible, and fun. I know the nearby dog parks and trails to walk, as well as beach areas where the doggies can relax and have fun. I have taken care of dogs that are babies and older adults as well as small and large. I have love for all breeds and I will make sure any dog that enters my home is treated like it’s their very own! I can care for your pet weekends and weekdays starting at 4pm! I can also do overnights on weekends and I can sometimes accommodate weekdays if we speak in advance. I have summers off so I can care for your pet around the clock during that time. I have a fenced in yard and a 8 year old and a 2 year old frenchie. They love to play and your pet would have plenty of room to roam and have fun!

I was fearful of leaving my dog with any boarder, as he is a rescue and I have not left him with anyone for the two years since I adopted him. But I needed to take a 4-day trip halfway across the country to see my daughter, who is pregnant with her first child/my first grandchild. Arnie, a mix of Boxer, Shar Pei, and Yellow Lab, also has a bone disorder in his right front leg that takes extra attention and care. But he warmed right up to Kursten and, when I returned, he was happy, healthy, clean, well-fed, and even walking perfectly with some uncommon pep in his step, not traumatized at all! THANK YOU, Kursten. I will be calling you again when my grandson is born and I'll need to go meet the new addition to the family.
Kursten did an excellent job watching our dog while we were away for the night. She was communicative, arrived on time, and left our house spotless.
Kursten took excellent care of our dogs, they seemed in good spirits We appreciated all the videos and photos . Would recommend her without reservations to anyone!!!
Kursten was a great sitter for our boy Charlie. She shared many photos and updates while we were away, and we always felt like he was in good hands. We would recommend her to other pet parents and would contact her again for any future needs.

A typical day
I love to take my dog and other dogs to the dog park down the road if they are comfortable with it. I also love taking walks, playing in the yard, and snuggling to relax.

Availability
I have summers off but I am available off summer hours after 4pm on weekdays and all day and night on weekends. I can stay with your animal at my home or yours during off summer hours if we speak in advance and you are ok with me leaving for work!
