It's all very dependent on the pet I'm with. I try to be gentle and approachable with the animal until they're comfortable with me, and then will I ease into being more affectionate. If I were with a very skittish and solitary animal I would make sure to keep my distance as not to upset them too much and keep them calm. Everyone has different requests and rules, but I'm willing to abide by all of them for the comfort and safety of your pet!

Pet care experience
Since I was very young I was around cats all the time. I helped care for the strays outside my home, the cats at my grandparents' house, and I was always fond of them! From 2011-2025 I had a cat that I cared for deeply and dedicated myself to named Jordyn. I used have two cats, Jordyn and Pippin, and I help care for an elderly dog at home named Sugar. I am confident in handling animals with medical issues, as Pippin had diabetes and Jordyn was diagnosed as an "allergic cat." I currently have numerous animals in the house, including snakes and chameleons. I'm very fond of large dogs too!
