I have had cats and dogs since I was 11, and I currently have two of the most precious kitties, Niffler and Graybie. I started pet sitting for friends and acquaintances around 4 years ago, and I have been loving it! Most of my experience has been with cats, including caring for senior and special needs kitties, pilling, insulin injections, and administering subcutaneous fluids. I have also on occasion walked, cared for and even boarded dogs.

Kseniya has provided excellent care to my two cats Såsa and Calvin for years. Calvin has kidney disease and part of his treatment is daily subcutaneous fluids and finding someone with the skill to administer that treatment has always been a challenge when I'm out of town. With Kseniya i know my pets will be well cared for and i will have my peace of mind while I'm away.

I notice that pets can get a little lonely when their humans are out of town, so I will usually try to get an idea from owners of their routine in spending time with their pets and try to mimic that as best I can.

It is important for me to know your feeding schedule and amounts, as well as if your pet takes any medications and what time and how they usually take them (pill pocket, liquid, in food, injection), or if your pet has any other special needs (dietary, movement restrictions, injuries). I have years of experience pilling, injecting, and administering fluids to cats, but regarding dogs I only have experience pilling in food or in treats.
A typical day
I will usually feel out your pet's mood for the day - if they seem up for hanging out and playing then we will play, but if they seem low-energy or like keeping to themselves that is also okay and we can keep it lowkey that day, sitting on the couch, getting pats, or a slow walk.

Availability
I mostly work nights and flexible hours mid-day, part-time, so my schedule generally allows for morning and evening feeding schedules, daytime walks, and I take timed pet medication very seriously.
