I am very passionate about animals! I currently have a nine year old golden retriever Sammy and we walk in all types of weather conditions, he loves running around the yard, playing with tennis balls and is generally a very happy animal! I am an active person and enjoy walking, running and being outdoors. I have taken a course designed for veterinary assistants that taught us how to restrain animals, different types of leashes used, breed specific information, and provided some basic medical info. I think what makes me most suited to this job is that I’m very attentive and conscientious. Animals often vibe off humans when they are around us, and I like to think that my positive attitude makes my dogs happier and more engaged when we play and run together. I can take dogs on walks, runs, to our fenced in yard, or to a local park. My schedule currently is very flexible as I only work part time, and this is a fun way for me to get time outside, supplement my incomes and meet new furry friends in the neighborhood! Edit: I also love kitties and have already met several amazing felines while working for Rover!
