Pet care experience
Hi! I'm a graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, currently living in Chicago’s Logan Square. I love all animals, but particularly love dogs of any kind. I have experience raising and caring for my own dog, a Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel/Miniature Poodle mix) named Charlie for around 11 years. I've cared for him since he was a puppy, and have always enjoyed taking him for walks and playing with him. I also have experience owning and taking care of a young Boxer named Buddy for around 4 years. I‘ve also taken care of a family member's elderly Shih Tzu for a couple of years. I love and welcome dogs of any size, age, breed, or temperament! I'm a very patient, attentive, and responsible person who deeply cares about the unique needs of individual dogs. I'm more than happy to hear about the daily routines and any accommodations your dog may have. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me! Full disclosure... Krystyna is my younger sister. So, I've seen her care for several family pets (1 cat, 2 dogs) her entire life! While we're both animal lovers, she has always been a hyper-responsible pet owner. She has always loved walking and playing with dogs. My family rescued a traumatized and aggressive cat, but Krystyna loved her and cared for her for many years. She also cared for a very energetic (and large) boxer. And now, she's best friends with a very adorable and silly Cockapoo. She's super sensitive to animals' needs and wants and would never allow an animal to experience any discomfort on her watch. We live far away from each other now, and when she visits, I swear she's more excited to hang out with my cat than she is with me. :)

I'm more than willing to hear about your dog's preferences in regards to his/her favorite activities and places to go on walks! I'm open to anywhere or anything; I enjoy playing fetch and throwing frisbees, walking in parks, visiting dog parks, to name a few! I love both high energy and moderate/low energy dogs.
