I have always loved dogs! I grew up with a german shepherd and yellow lab, and now I have a playful terrier mix. I love learning about and celebrating the little quirks that make each doggy unique. I am good at understanding what a dog needs and I can show affection and love in ways that resonate with their individual personalities. My friends have described me as loving, compassionate, and "patient as a rock." These are traits I bring into my relationships with humans as well as dogs. I have cared for pets that need lots of exercise, and/or need special attention. I give my own pup oral medication (pills and liquid suspension), so I have learned how to make medication time as gentle a process as possible and I understand the importance of keeping to a consistent medication schedule.
