Is your paw friend looking for a new human friend?

Pet care experience

I love taking care of dogs for family and friends so thought I'd open my home and offer a safe place for new paw friends. I'll take your doggie for walks, play games and of course feed them. I would say I specialise in dogs who are dog reactive, dogs who are not particularly fond of other dogs and dogs who need to be on their own so no other dogs in my home at the same time. I am used to looking after a dog that is visually impaired and we play games around smells rather than sight, senior dogs that just want to relax rather than go for long walks, puppies and young adults that like to go for zoomies to burn some of their energy... the list goes on... I work from home so your dog will be in good hands, in a safe and loving home environment. During the week it's just me in the day and partner Scott will be there in the evenings and he loves dogs too. I can give your dog a big walk in the morning and again in the afternoon and evening, but I will mirror your dogs routine the best I can. I do not have any children or pets at home which gives me EXCLUSIVE time to look after your paw friend so they have my full attention. I want your dog to feel at ease and happy. My garden is fenced and secure. It consists of decking, stones and a planted border. I live in a detached 3 bedroom house and the dog can make use of all the bottom of the house, can relax on the sofa or in the garden in a very quiet road with lots of recreation parks nearby for doggie walks. I may charge a little bit more than others but that reflects the level of care and attention your dog will receive and I do not look after any other dogs when your dog is with me, so your dog will receive my full attention. I also love taking photos so you'll receive photo's of your pooch. If your dog is boarding with me, I can provide as many updates as you would like, along with photo's.

Olive had such a lovely time with Krystie. She went for a trial day first and when I dropped her off for her overnight stay she was so excited to get out the car and see Krystie again! Krysties house and garden are lovely, it's a calm and peaceful environment. I was kept updated with messages and pictures. Olive can be reactive to dogs but I felt really safe leaving her in Krysties knowledgeable hands.

Sergio has been with Krystie for day care twice now and absolutely loved it! He has come home very happy and very tired from all the running around the garden and playing. When we met Krystie we were instantly comfortable and Sergio made himself right at home. Krystie is very friendly, caring and accommodating to Sergio’s routine and needs. Krystie is very quick to respond to messages and kept us updated throughout the day with lots of pictures which put our minds at ease. Would definitely recommend and Sergio is looking forward to going to day care with Krystie again.

Your dogs safety is very important to me. We don't have any small or dangerous items in reach, I work downstairs where you're pooch will be so we'll be hanging out together all day.

Information Krystie P. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know of any special requirements your dog has such as food, if he jumps up, likes to bark at people on a walk, dog reactive, what games they like to play or things to avoid around your dog such as hoovering. I want you dog to feel at home. If your dog becomes too anxious to the point of attack around new people, it would be best if we met beforehand so we can get acquainted. If you're dog is boarding with me you can have as many free meet and greets as you like. Please note: I do not have experience with aggressive dogs or dogs that need to have a muzzle.

A typical day

Depending on your pooch we can go for a big walk in one of the parks near me and play games... if your dog is scared of the outdoors we can play in my secure garden... if your dog is a senior we can just cuddle on the sofa. I'm happy to cater to your dogs individual needs.
