Perfect walking buddy
Pet care experience
I love being outdoors walking, running, hiking, and exploring good routes in cities. I've been around dogs my whole life and spent many a time taking care of dogs and their needs from a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I've house-sat and pet-sat, and stopped in to feed and fulfill their needs, and I absolutely love taking them on walks. Dog-walking is a perfect job for an active exerciser like myself. I also love to care for dogs in whatever health they're in. There is something special to taking care of animals and being in tune to there needs. The longest I've pet-sat is for one month, where I routinely went to the dogs' homes 2 times a day to feed, walk, play with the dogs, and take care of their needs for up to 1 hour, as well as staying overnight on some days to keep the dogs company.

Krysten is great with animals! Our English bull dog loves her! When I was a brand new mom and having trouble balancing baby duty and dog walking, Krysten would offer to come walk Oakley for us. Both he and I were extremely grateful! Any time our family was taking a trip, she was the first person we would turn to. Very caring and responsible.

There are tons of safe routes in neighborhoods within the city, as well as trails along the river. I especially love to walk dogs to parks and let them run (on leash if not a dog park) or get out whatever they need to while outdoors.
