Pet enthusiast at your service!

Pet care experience

I have been pet-sitting throughout highschool and now into my 3rd year of college at FAU! Please make sure to let me know everything and anything there is to know about your pet so they feel comfortable around me as their pet sitter!! When you're not able to care for your pet, I'm willing to provide the best of care!! As I am a student I am not home 24/7. The days I have listed as available are the days that I am home throughout the entirety of the day. If by chance I am not home (this happens on a rare occurrence, it's usually because I have to refill my gas tank or do some grocery shopping) I live with my mother and she is always home when I am not! Your pet will constantly be in the presence of either myself or my mom. My availability will change as the summer, spring and fall semesters go by. I do have other pets but they do not live inside the house. I have an outdoor cat who comes into my patio. She eats her food/water, uses her litter box and leaves. I also have a few caged birds in the patio, I take them out to play in the patio and sometimes take them outside but they do not go inside either! (don't worry! my cat and the birds are friends :-) Your pet will not be in contact with my pets as they are outdoors and your pet will be inside if you decide to leave them with me overnight or during the day! I live in a spacious 4 bed/3.5 bath home. If your pet prefers to sleep in his/her own room we have two empty bedrooms, I do not mind at all if your pet decides to sleep next to me or with me! And if they just want to do their own thing that's cool too :-) If your pet has an accident in my house there is absolutely no issue since the floor is all tile. We do have a rug in the family room and if it your pet is known to have accidents it honestly should not be an issue! I'll be taking your pet outside multiple times throughout the day. If you think it might happen, there is no harm in leaving me some pee-pee pads especially if I'm taking care of a puppy or older pet! I live in a large neighborhood and complex so going on walks will not be a problem at all. I have a spacious fenced in back yard where your dog can go outside and be free! I'll be caring for your dog as if he/she is me own so you are in good hands. If I am taking care of an older pet please make sure to leave me a note of what medication(s) they take if they have any, how many times a day, if there is a specific time they have to take it etc. If your pet is known to have a difficulty taking their medication also let me know if it's easier for them to take it with their food or with something else (if they take it with something else please bring it!! I would like them to feel comfortable in my home during their stay) As I do not own a dog, I do not have dog toys! If your pet likes to play with toys bring a few of their favorites so they feel like they're home :-) When it comes to feeding every dog is different. If your pets meals are portioned let me know how much and how many times a day I should feed them. If not let me know regardless! My previous dog, Reggie (pictured) was a very outgoing, relaxed dog. He never barked, loved to play, and absolutely loved nap time. He was a big eater so his meals were portioned so he wouldn't go overweight; 2 times a day (breakfast [3/4 cup] with a bone, and dinner [1/2 cup] with two or three treats after doing a few tricks). As he got older he had to keep up with vitamins and he's the biggest 12 year old puppy I've ever met. Reggie is no longer with me but he is still running around with my older brother. My brother got very attached to my dog and when I was in highschool. I couldn't keep up with taking care of Reggie like I used to, going to school from morning till mid afternoon and sometimes even in the evening due to band practices (I was in our highschools marching/concert/jazz band). Reggie deserved the same care and my brother was willing to continue taking care of Reggie. I am absolutely thankful that he is still very much loved and in the family! I'm just sharing this little story about Reggie and how much he was loved by me to let you know that I've experienced taking care of my best friend. Hopefully you're willing to let me take care of you're furry friend! See you guys very soon!!

She is the most loving and caring family lover (our dogs are our babies ) .She is the only person that I trust to watch my baby Envy (4.5lb Toy Pomeranian) besides my own mother . She will be watching her again this summer in June for 10 days . I am able to FaceTime her and rely that she follows our Envys feeding/walking itinerary . Thank you Krystal!
