tldr- I had to scramble to find someone to pick up my dogs from Krystal while I was out of town because she wouldn’t watch them anymore. This was my first time using Krystal and I would not recommend her. The day I dropped my dogs off to be watched everything seemed fine. Until about 1:30am when Krystal started texting me that one of my dogs was barking and she was trying to sleep. My dog doesn’t usually do this. I travel often. At least once a month. My normal dog walker was out of town. But I have never received any news like this, which says something about the lack of comfort my dogs felt at her house. I talked to her and tried to give suggestions to help. It is unfortunate, but a dog barking comes with the territory of being a paid dog walker. After the second night Krystal texted me at 7:30am asking that I have someone pickup the dogs because she was tired and didn’t want to have to go to work tired. So I scrambled while out of town and was able to get someone to pick up my dogs, as I didn’t feel safe having my dogs in an environment where they were not wanted. Krystal caused me a great inconvenience and was not apologetic whatsoever. She was not accommodating. I want people to know that it is possible she will do this to you while you are away. Had I known, I would’ve booked with a different walker and probably could’ve avoided this massive inconvenience entirely. I would not recommend Krystal to anyone. You need to know that your dogs will be well taken care of while you are away, and that is not the case with Krystal.
