Teacher of children and dogs
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Krystal, and I’m an early childhood educator in the northwest CT area. I love children — but I’m looking to teach and play with my other favorite ‘kids’, your kind with furry paws!! I do teach full time, but my weekends and after school hours are available. On the weekends I can make myself available full time! Throughout the years I have owned a variety of dogs, from small to large. I understand the importance of playing with and loving your pups. My education speciality is nature education, which means I love to go on long walks and adventures! Four legged companions are my favorite to go exploring with. Over the years I have had up to three pups of my own at one time, and am comfortable handling multiple dogs at a time. Let me know if you have further questions!
Reviews
Krystal is responsible, reliable and loves my dog! She takes her out for walks, feeds her, nurtures her when I can’t be there. I’m relieved.

Information Krystal P. would like to know about your pet
Before I sit a dog, I would like to know their personality. Some dogs are very hands on, others prefer a lighter touch. I think it’s important to differentiate to your dog’s needs. My dog also has certain dietary needs, so I think that is important as well. Finally, I have no breed preferences!
A typical day
My favorite areas to go on walks involve a lot of nature areas — nearby parks and trails. While I do enjoy hiking, I refrain from taking the dogs I sit on those kinds of explorations, just to be cautious. I know they’re such a high priority for their families! I also think it’s fun to explore family and community friendly areas together — I’m a people person, and if your pup is too then all the better! I also have a golden retriever of my own at home, who loves to make new friends!
