I grew up around dogs and other animals. My husband and I currently have an Australian shepherd named Leroy Brown. We love taking trips to the dog park, long walks at first landing, learning new tricks, and playing catch. My husband and I currently volunteer at the Virginia Beach animal care and adoption center. We love going there to talk and play with the dogs. Sometimes I take them out for the day for a walk at first landing or the beach among other places. In addition we volunteer our time playing with the cats, feeding the animals, and cleaning their kennels. I enjoy spending time with animals, and I am glad that I have the opportunity to meet new friendly animals while helping others.
