I'm a veterinary technician at an emergency animal hospital, doggy daycare/boarding worker, rescue foster mom, and dog mom of 2. I've been an animal lover all my life, owning a variety of pets growing up varying from chinchillas to turtles. When I adopted my black lab retriever Duke 9 years ago I knew I wanted to make caring for animals my career. Shortly after I enrolled in the veterinary technician program at Milwaukee Career College and graduated in 2014. I was hired on at the er animal hospital where I did my externship for school and continue to work there to this day. In May 2018 I became an animal caretaker at a doggy daycare that specializes in dogs with special needs (behavioral, geriatric, medical) that just wouldn't do well in a typical doggy daycare setting. In February 2019 I wanted to help less fortunate dogs find their forever families and became a foster mom through a local rescue. Since February 2019 I've fostered 15 dogs and helped them all find loving families including adopting one myself (Kida) in December 2019. Duke, Kida, and I live in Muskego with my boyfriend Karl and his black lab Zoey. We have about an acre in the backyard that's all fenced in.
