Pet care experience
I am a lifelong animal lover located in prime dog walking territory near Lake Pflugerville. I share my home with my husband, 2 animal lovers in training (my 6 yr old son and 1m5 yr old daughter), a senior papillon, Kingston and a typical anti-social cat, Poppy. Kingston is great with other animals. Poppy has her own dedicated space upstairs and does not typically interact with our guests. For drop-ins I am also happy to water your plants (I also love plants), and bring in your packages or trash cans if needed.

We have a home with a large fenced in backyard. We have a doggy door to the backyard so your dog can have continuous access to the backyard or can get hourly potty breaks and outdoor playtime depending on your comfort level. All dogs are fed in separate areas. I also have several different gated areas so dogs can be separated if they need to be seperated for any reason. I only kennel your dog if they are already accustomed to being kenneled at home.

I have plenty of toys and beds available for your dog to use. Feel free to bring your own but please let me know if there is a favorite toy that needs extra care not to be played with too rough. I have lots of fluffy friends with quirky eating habits. If your dog needs me to sit with them to eat or any other special accommodation, that's totally fine! Just let me know.
A typical day
We spend a lot of time in the backyard as a family and our guests typically get a lot of energy out playing fetch and running around with us. I am mindful of the heat and have several water bowls outside (in addition to inside) as well as a shaded patio with fan. If your dog doesn't enjoy the great outdoors, that's ok too. Neither does mine, they can hang out in the air conditioning.
