Pet care experience
I have been and am currently a vet technician for 18 years! I absolutely love my job and getting to care for animals everyday! I grew up with multiple dogs in the household along with other pets such as, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, reptiles and birds. I currently have one dog myself, a great dane who does well with other dogs. I have two children, ages 11 years and 8 years who also do well with dogs! I require animals to be up-to-date on vaccines and flea free. I have a fenced in yard. I am comfortable medicating dogs if needed. Crates are not required unless your dog is destructive when left alone. I will care for your dog as my own! I hope to care for your fur-babies so you can relax and enjoy your travels!

My boys had a great time with Kristy and her family! We appreciated her flexibility and very responsive communication, and the photos we received were great, too. It became clear our guys were in good hands when one of my pups tore his nail before we left and she jumped right in to treat it. Definitely recommend!
Kristy took wonderful care of our girl while we were away. She was communicative and sent a few pics too. She was flexible with our drop off/pick up times and we won’t hesitate to use her again!
Kristy did great with my Lab Mix, Coco. I really appreciated the text messages and the picture. I was excited to hear she works with animals and had repeat customers. I will be using this service again and hope she's available.

I would need to know if your dog doesn't do well with children and/or men. Also if a crate is needed for night time or when nobody is home due to becoming destructive from separation anxiety.
A typical day
Luckily my own dog loves to play!! I make sure to provide 'down time' so that they each get rest and a break. I usually don't take my client's dogs for walks, as I would rather keep them here in my fenced yard incase something were to happen out on a walk.

Availability
I do work full time but my work schedule usually allows for a 1 to 2 hour lunch break therefore I have the capability to come home and let the dogs out or medicate if needed. My husband also has a different working schedule most weeks therefore he can help out with letting them out and/or meeting with clients for more convenient pick up or drop off.
