I have been an animal lover all of my life and it continues to grow living in an environment that is so supportive of our furry friends! From my first dog at 4 years old to now, I have always had a dog in my life - a cocker spaniel, to mixed breeds and 3 yellow Labrador retrievers over the years, my cup runneth over. I had to put my last Labrador down at 15 years old just when Covid hit. Boy I could have really used her healing energy. Since then, I have not gotten another dog and I have since retired. I have done a number of private pet-sitting jobs and want to take pet sitting to the next level i.e. Rover. I am an avid walker/hiker and usually try to do 4-6 miles daily. I am fortunate to be able walk outside my front door to have access to the abundance of walking paths, wetlands and parks.
