I have been dog sitting in different capacities for the last 12 years, whether it be checking in on a dog a couple times a day or staying with the dog for a couple weeks. I have experience walking and caring for many breeds of dogs. My family always had at least one dog as a pet so I am used to living with dogs. I also have a 7 year old Golden retriever who is super sweet and I treat him like a human child! He enjoys playing one on one with other dogs which is a perk when dog sitting! When I pass a dog, I typically say "hello"! I love dogs! Now that it is summer, I have more availability during the week as well as on the weekends! Besides going out of town for two weeks, I will be around most of the summer.
