Hi! I’m Kristine, a lifetime animal lover and pet mom. I grew up having all kinds of pets of my own, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, really anything my parents would let me have. I was also the designated pet-sitter for friends who would go on vacation, and I absolutely loved it. I have experience with large and small dogs, and I’ve raised and trained four of my own dogs from puppies. I am also dog trainer with Maligator Kennels. I am being trained by a certified canine behavior expert, and I have a passion for learning about dog behavior. (If you’re in need of training, check out Maligator Kennels. Our dog loves his vacation time :) Kristine and her family take the best care of him, and he gets so much play time and attention. He gets so excited now when we pull up to her house!

Kristine has been nothing short of amazing! My husband and I had never boarded our pup before, and were very hesitant in leaving her as she has multiple food and medical issues. Kristine was incredible and made us feel at ease. Brownie was sad when we dropped her off but Kristine and her family took her in and treated her like she was their own. We got pictures of her laying on the couch hanging with her kids, snuggling with her kids and hiking. She loves going and we feel great knowing she’s in good hands.
If a sitter does not Understand the importance of giving medication to a dog under their care, they should not be a dog sitter! I have a 9 year old dog with eplepsy and kristine missed 4 dosages of her seizure medication, out of the four days we boarded her. If it was only one I would understand, but four dosages? I had a conversation with her regarding my dog's medication on the drop off and updated on my dogs rover profile. That is serious! I had to call the vet as soon I got home to adress the situation. I wish I could report the amazing reviews like everybody else, specially because she was recommend by our old sitter Tara. Unfortunately that was not my experience.

I love being outside, especially when I have a dog friend to spend time with! Hiking, running, walking, playing at parks, I love it all.

Availability
I work part time as a dog trainer, set my own schedule and can accommodate almost all needs with enough notice. I am home other than that, and love spending time playing with dogs! If you have a reactive or aggressive dog, I am able to work with them. It can be stressful leaving an unpredictable pup with someone you don’t know, so if you’re concerned, reach out!
