I grew up in a little town in Latvia, surrounded by nature. Lot of my family members kept animals. Pets and livestock as well. When I was young spent a lot of time helping out on my grandparents farm. I learnt at an early age that it is a big responsibility to keep animals. I became close friends with their dogs Argo and Cipa. Our family dog Rico was also really dear to me. When I moved to the capital city, my friend and I had a cat called Hugo. She was living with us in our flat. She was a lovely part of my life. When I moved to the UK in 2015, I had to leave her in Latvia at my granny. Although I know that she is in good hands but I miss her. It was always easy for me to find the mutual tone with pets and I keep them close to my heart. My mom’s new dog Marco accepted me in a second the first time we met. After I came to the UK, in Northampton I quickly became some of my friends first choice when they needed someone to sit with their pets while they are on holiday. My friend’s cats Lóri and Zsigmond or other friend’s dogs Süti and Lola will always be in my heart and I hope I will have the chance to watch them again in the future.
