Pet care experience
I have always had a love for dogs ever since I was 10 years old. After raising my own, I know how much work and how much detail goes into taking care of them. I love taking my friend’s & family’s dogs (from 6 months to 10 years old) for walks and allow them to take the world in with their noses. I take the time to read training books and watch videos about positive reinforcement and how to truly understand dogs. I make sure my pup has all the outlets to fulfill her needs through snuffle mat feedings, filling up boxes with crumbled up paper and treats so she can dig and shred, mat training, positive reinforcement outside so she is less reactive on walks, playing frisbee, giving her the freedom to sniff since dogs noses are 100,000x stronger than ours, you name it, I’ve probably practiced it with my dog! Let me spoil your dog with all these activities :)

Kristine has been walking my dog for over a year now. I can tell from the excitement that she brings every time that she has a genuine passion for dogs. My dog has been struggling with leash pulling and reactivity so I've been hesitant to let just anyone walk my dog but Kristine has absolutely killed it. She continues to update me with photos and videos throughout the walk. She's even taught me a bunch of tips and tricks to mitigate leash pulling along the way. I have the utmost confidence in her with my dog and I guarantee that you will too. She's always on time and always goes the extra mile (e.g. carries water bottle throughout the walk, brings extra treats, refills my dog's water bowl when returning to the house). I would highly recommend Kristine if you are looking for a dog walker in the Sugar Land area!
Kristine has been walking my dog for a little over a year now. My dog is always extremely excited to see her and they go walk around the local park. She always provides me with an update of how the walk went (sometimes pictures too) and I can tell that she's extremely caring/knowledgeable. Herself a dog owner, she is familiar with the needs of all types, sizes, and breeds of dogs. She is very detail oriented and communicates often - so no need to worry about a lack of updates or other issues. I can't say enough great things about Kristine and the care she provides for my dog. Like many pet owners, my dog means the world to me and it takes a lot for me to trust someone with them. Please let me know if there are any specific behaviors I can account for with your dog! My own dog is very unsure of strangers so I completely understand that not all dogs will warm up quickly and will be willing to have short and sweet meetings before we go through with the service! And also let me know about any preferences your dog has whether it be favorite activities, toys, and even treats!
A typical day
I not only will physically exercise your dog but also mentally! I love using snuffle mats, puzzles, and even playing hide and seek if your dog is up for it! I can provide little brain exercises with new tricks or just obedience training as well! I am always finding new neighborhoods, parks, and hidden trails to walk my dog and I can do the same for yours!

I’m currently taking classes online so my schedule is very open! I can watch your dog or walk any time of the day (preferably not when the sun is blazing so we don’t get heat stroke, but if we do have to walk while it’s hot out I’ll make sure to bring water with me!)
