Pet care experience
***Please send me a message to discuss how I can accommodate you and your pet during the COVID-19 epidemic. I’m continuing to educate myself on the evolving scientific facts about this disease and our pets*** I believe in providing compassionate and knowledgeable pet care. Pet sitting is my primary occupation so I can give your pets exceptional care. I have 30 years experience pet sitting. I take care of elderly, special needs and pets known to have behavior problems. I provide doggy day care and overnight boarding in my home. My overnight care is limited to 6 dogs. During holiday weekends I may have 7-8 dogs. I'm enrolled in Rover's Protection Package which allows 24/7 access to ask a veterinarian questions. I donate 3% of my earnings through Rover.com to an Australian Shepherd rescue. When needed, I'm fortunate to have my parents, who are retired available as back up support. My Dad loves to walk dogs and walks a total of 4-7 miles a day.
Reviews
Kristine is a life saver! She's taken care of our two pooches several times. They're a little nervous when they get in the car, but loosen up when they realize they're going to Kristine's. She's got a real way with challenging dogs!
Fantastic as usual. Will always repeat!
Kaylee is very intuitive with the dogs. She knows what each personality needs and how to treat them accordingly. She even gave me a few tips on how to take better care of our pups, and most importantly, she gave them the love they deserved. I am very grateful that we found her.
Kristine’s great with our challenging dog, good communication and send pictures!

Information Kristine A. would like to know about your pet
Prior to any pet care service I'll meet with you and your pets. If you would like to book with me I'll start a new client sheet and ask about their daily routine, where they sleep, feeding schedule, treats, veterinarian, medical issues and anything else which makes your dog unique. I'll answer questions you may have. We can discuss if your dog has had separation anxiety or incontinence issues in the past. I'm happy to work with special requests or dogs with issues, although some may require an additional fee. Drop-In Visits: For pets requiring minimum care or less social dogs . Visits are 45 min. Water bowls cleaned, pets fed, pet waste p/u and quality time spent with pets. Doggy Day Care: Your dog is cared for in my home up to 9.5 hours between the hours of 7am-7pm. A 20 minute daily walk is included. Doggy Boarding: Similar to day care except dog stays overnight.
A typical day
A typical day of doggy day care or an overnight stay depends on the individual dogs' needs or activity level. My day starts when the first dog wakes up and I immediately take them to the backyard to use the restroom. This is usually always followed by the dogs excitement to see each other and will start playing. I keep a large assortment of durable toys for small to large dogs. Meanwhile I prepare everyone's breakfast according to your instructions and each dog is separated during meals. Then I take the dogs out for another bathroom break followed by more playtime. My neighborhood is quiet and perfect for walks. Starting around noon each dog is walked individually for 30-45 minutes or per your instructions. Your dog will be brushed, cleaned or bathed as needed. Your dog is welcome to bring their bed, blankets, crate and favorite toys. Your dog will always have someone home with them, but most of the time will have three people to indulge and play with them.
