I have worked professionally with dogs and other animals for over 10 years and personally for most of my life. I have a great calmness when it comes to keeping dogs behaving well and happy while on walks. I have learned to read a dogs body language very well over the years. With the right energy there is no dog too big or too small for me! I have experience as a professional groomer and bather as well. I have, of course, a lot of love for the felines too! I've learned how to talk to and treat cats so as to gain trust and let them know I'm a cat person too. I'm happy to spend time getting to know their likes and dislikes and their favorite toys and quirky behaviors. I believe they have just as much love and happiness to give us as a dogs do! I believe in lots of love, affection and positive reinforcement. I will always treat your pets as my own and protect them while you are away. I have had experience working with large groups of dogs of varying sizes. I love being around dogs! I have also had previous experience pet sitting for friends and friends of friends. I have cared for not only dogs but cats, fish, rabbits, various types of reptiles and different small pets and birds. I have personally owned dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and ferrets. I have also spent a lot of time at my grandparents farm growing up, which had many animals including cows, pigs, chickens, ducks and a donkey and of course the barn cats and the best farm dogs! I'm just an animal loving country girl living in the city! I have also shared my home and love with a couple of foster dogs in the past, both of which have gone into loving homes of their own. I do also work a full time job in retail, so I’ll need to know your pets routine to make sure we can be a good fit with scheduling.
