I will do drop in visits as early as 9am, and as late as 6pm. Visits will be coordinated around our little’s school schedule. Depending on location, I will do up to 3 visits per day.

Our yard is not fenced, so guests are leashed while outdoors. It is quite a large yard, so guests can get plenty of exercise and stimulation. Guests have their own space in a separate room so they can feel comfortable with their own crate/bed/toys etc., but also are free to roam the rest of the house when they desire. We do not allow guests in the bedrooms, so visitors must be comfortable sleeping in their own room alone at night.

I love all breeds, but I do have a fondness for larger dogs. I would like to be able to meet the animals prior to sitting so that they will feel comfortable with me, especially if they take a few extra moments to trust new folks. I'm comfortable working with pets that have behavior issues, as long as those are disclosed in advance. We have cats and small children in our home, and ask that new guests have a proven track record of getting along with others. We can no longer accept non-neutered males or guests that have not had experience with cats or small children.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog As much time as they'd like! I have found with previous pet-sitting opportunities that some pets enjoy having company, beyond playtime, feeding, and walking. Extra house-sitting services Watering plants and bringing in the mail is fine, depending on other tasks that are more time consuming, the fee may be adjusted.

Cat care experience
I’ve cared for senior cats, cats with medical issues, cat colonies, and indoor/outdoor cats. I enjoy getting to know their different personalities and quirks. I also have experience dealing with cats that aren’t people centred, and can respect their space and needs. One of the veterinary practices I worked in was certified by AAFP as a “cat friendly practice” which allowed me to receive specialized training in feline medicine, behavior, gentle handling techniques, and stress reduction.

I can’t say enough good things about Kristina! This was our first time having a sitter for our pup and we were a bit nervous. However, from the moment we met, I felt completely at ease leaving our dog in her care. She were attentive, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I received regular updates, photos, and little notes that showed how well our pup was being cared for. When I came home, our pup was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. It’s such a relief to know I have someone I can trust completely.
