Pet care experience
My family owned our dog for 12 years, and since moving to Boston, I really miss having some pet energy in my life. I have experience dog sitting for neighbors while I was growing up (two yellow labs), and of course, with my own dog (small mutt). She has IBS and cancer, so I have experience caring for dogs with illness or in need of oral medication. I am very active and love the outdoors, so I would be happy to walk or run with your dog. After volunteering at an SPCA animal shelter, I am confident in improving socialization of dogs and cats. This also gave me experience with traumatized or aggressive pets. I am reliable, punctual, and responsible. I have also had over 6 years of babysitting experience, so I will certainly be respectful of your time, schedule, and space. Most importantly, I have so much love to give your pet while you’re away!

Kristina is responsible and quick to respond / send updates. Our 75 lb dog loves when she arrives for walks and comes back well exercised. Would recommend if you are in need of a reliable walker!

I live on the second floor of an apartment. There is a balcony and a fenced yard. Other than my own apartment and yard, I never take a dog off the leash. I have 3 roommates who all LOVE animals as well.

I would like to know your pets normal feeding, walking, and potty routine-- This will help with keeping a sense of familiarity while their owner is away! Please also let me know if there are bad habits you are trying to break with your pet (i.e. jumping on people, biting the leash, etc.). I would hate to promote bad behaviors while you aren't there.
A typical day
I love to go on long walks with dogs and play fetch in my yard. I also really love practicing tricks with dogs, especially if they are treat-motivated.

Availability
I am a full-time graduate student at Tufts University. Most of my schoolwork can be done while I'm home in my apartment, so I am able to spend time with your pet during normal business hours.
