I grew up around dogs. At one time, I had five dogs, two birds, a horse and a tortoise… so I know what it's like to really love having pets around and miss them when you're out of town! And when you travel… I understand why you would want to be texted updates with plenty of cute pictures of your happy pup having a good time! It’s their vacation too... right?! I work from home which allows me the chance to give your pup the care and attention they want. We can go out for as many walks as they need throughout the day/night. I live in the East Riverside district so I can also take them to several nearby parks (both fenced in or not) so your dog will get plenty of playtime and exercise. Or, if they are more the indoor type, that’s fine too! As a fellow doggie owner, I've taken extensive training classes with my fur babies to better understand how they think. It helped me bond with them further. If you request it I can teach your pet some commands while they enjoy their stay. Shelter/rescue and purebreds are ALL WELCOME in my house! I happen to be the proud fur-parent of both kinds. I have a small purebred Pomeranian... named Paolo and Adelaide… a fun-loving German-Shepherd/Husky mix who I adopted from Austin Pets Alive. If your dog has any special needs such as odd feeding times, extra attention or daily brushing I'll be happy to accommodate your requests! Whatever their needs needs are, I know they will have fun here. For the sake of my neighbors, sorry but no whining barkers. I get it... my dog likes to alert me if someone is at the door but anything beyond that turns ugly when you live in an apartment complex! The best fit here will play well with others, flea-free and potty trained. I usually take last minute bookings too. My biggest rules are no peeing/marking and no chewing/destroying items in my apt!! If you aren't sure whether or not this will be an issue then it's best to stay on the safe side and find a sitter wouldn't mind those things. If your pup has quirks or anxieties, please don't be afraid to let me know. I'll want to know so I can do my best to help them during their stay. (Example: If they have a fear of stairs… I can carry them or take them on the elevator.) I would be honored to take care of your precious lil’ angels and I'll treat them like they are a part of my family and look forward to giving them plenty of puppy pampering!
