Pet care experience
I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and am a Certified Veterinary Technician. This has given me a knowledge of care, health, nutrition, and other aspects related to animals. My passion is for companion animal care and health. My family has had dogs for as long as I can remember. Our first dog was a black lab from a shelter and she was the sweetest dog I have ever met. I have a small zoo of pets myself including a guinea pig (Simon), two cats (Zanna and Zookie), and a dog (Camille). I'm currently working as a veterinary technician and have experience caring for many dogs and cats in a shelter and kennel environment. I previously worked for a specialty pet food store as well. I would love to help you take care of your four-legged, furry family.

I make sure to familiarize myself with the pet owner's house and surrounding areas. Specifically I let them tell me where is the best place to let pets outside or walk them. If possible I will do a meet and greet to get the lay of the land and make sure everyone is comfortable.

I would love to know how your dog interacts with other dogs and people. All breeds are welcome as long as the dog is not aggressive towards people.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks wherever they feel comfortable. I'll give them plenty of time to sniff and explore. I am more than happy to play fetch if they have an extendable leash or a yard to play in.

Availability
I am available to visit your pets before and after my full time working hours. Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays I am also available mid-day. I can provide drop in visits and/or dog walking.
