Pet care experience
My first dog was a Rottweiler my dad gifted to me when I was 5 years old. He was a gentle giant. He was kind and intuitive and was the first to teach me how to communicate with dogs. I have since then had many dogs, cats, worked at rescues and worked at boarding stables attending to horses. All animals want to be loved and communicated with, but they each have their own way of being respected and understood. I currently have a Bully/Blue Lacy young dog.

I am currently teaching my 1 year and 10 months old rescue dog obedience training (indoor and outdoor, onleash and off) using positive reinforcement, redirection, and occasionally firm consistent boundaries corrections to teach her awareness, consideration and safety for herself and others people and animals. She and I go on 1-3 hour hikes a few times a week. I made crate training a game so she loves being in her crate now when I need to leave her at home when I go out ...and sometimes she lays down in it when I AM home too!

A typical day
I can take your dogs to their favorite walking spot, play some games with them and maybe teach them a new trick if they are curious and want to learn something new and fun!
